The Church of the Annunciation
According to Christian religion, the Church of the Annunciation, which is adorned, is the place where Mary received the news of the birth of Jesus from the angel Gabriel. In the heart of the church, which was built on the remains of churches from the Crusader and Byzantine periods and opened to the public in 1969, there is a cave carved into the rock where Mary lived. During the tour of the church, you can distinguish the decoration of mosaics and other works depicting Mary – a contribution of Christian communities from around the world, each of which reflects its cultural tradition.

The market in the old city
The ancient market of Nazareth has been operating for many years, and a tour of it will expose you to the unique story of the city and some of its special secrets and sites. We recommend strolling among the stalls and simply enjoying a crazy celebration of colors and scents: fruits and vegetables from the best local agricultural produce, spices and coffee grounds on site, famous churches with fascinating history, and more.
